Perseverance is the way
Motivated by two of my favorites today…

You can try to lecture people into changing, or you can attempt to punish them, threaten them, shame them, or force them to change. But they will only be changing for you—which means the moment you’re not looking, they are likely to revert back to their old ways.
If you really want someone to change, you must inspire change within them—not by what you say, but by your example. Sure, it takes longer to be the change, but that’s actually the quickest way. The harder, more exhausting way, with the poorest results, is to try and force the change.
